8th grade formal DRESS?! HELP GIRLS!!?

okay so i have NO idea what dress i'm going to wear to 8th grade formal. i'm not really a girly girl and i'm HORRIBLE with picking out dresses. i just don't want to look like an idiot. so can you guys please give me dresses you think would look nice? and how should i do my hair with the ones you choose. oh btw, my hair is thick balck hair, wavy, not frizzy but not striaght, it's like 5 inches past my shoulders.

i want a dress that's:

-not too poofy

-any color

-prefereably solid color (can have other colors) but no design or prints

-not too like revealing

-no tube top

It depends on your body type. Try something really simple, but cute. Plain black or red are really classic colors, but looks amazing. A light sky blue would also look nice. Try the website below for some ideas.
