Hairstyle for wedding?

one of my really good friends asked me to do her hair for her wedding. here's the thing. it's a really formal wedding, but she doesn't want an updo. she said her pictures always turn out bad whenever her hair is up. won't her hairstyle look a bit casual if her hair is down? any great tips on what i can do? pictures or links would GREATLY help. thank you :)

I really like these because they seem easy to do and I figured you can always go more formal by adding a nice classy hair ornament instead of going with a classic hairstyle...
