Ok so the other week I had a formal. I wore the nicest dress my mom made for me. Everybody thought it was professionally made. I had my hair and nails and make up done and new shoes. At school I have not many clothes and look a little daggy. I get teased a lot about my appearance but that night the popular girls flocked around me and asked me to dance with them and boys that usually tease me were being extremely nice to me. Why did this happen? Just because I dont wear formal wear all the time and have my hair professionally done and my make up professionally done, they wont talk to me but that night I was very popular.

not your real friends....but that's high school...i guess at public high school its all about what you look like....not the person you are

thats the way teens are these days. one minute your in the next your not. just don't worry about. be yourslef and never give into all the little games they play...if they were really your friends they wouldn't care what you wore.
