What colours will suit my pale skin?

I have pale skin, I've never dyed my hair so its a natural shade of blonde, dirty blonde underneath with natural highlights through the top. and I have kind of grey-ish eyes, they are a mix of blue and green so they appear kind of jade-grey.

I dont know what colours suit my fair skin and hair and I have a semi-formal party coming up with weekend and I'm not sure what colour dress to go for. I want something that will suit me and complement me rather than take over.

any ideas?

I am 21 and only 5 foot tall if that makes any difference.

i have the same skin tone as you and these colors seem to work for me! don't go for too bright of colors, or too light of colors. Light colors will wash you out, and bright jewel tones are to flashy for your plale skin. Hope this helped...

Well pink is a natural for people with fair skin. A light blue, red (I consider this a nice everyone color), yellow. Personally I've never known purple or anything of that nature to look good with people that have pale skin. Black is always an option, as is white. You really need to try on some colors that make your eyes pop. It's usually the color that your eye has the most, this works for men as well as women. My mom has deep green eyes and a golden undertone with deep blonde hair so her colors are green, orange, peach, brown and gold. My fiancee has hazel eyes and he looks very good in hunter green and a burnt orange type of color. Personally I have blue eyes dirty blonde (almost light brown) hair color and my big colors are blues. So which color does your eyes have the most? Blue? Green? More then likely a nice green would look lovely.

And remember because of your short stature, I have the same issue, that ruffles or large flowers can over power your petite frame.

You need to think about what you want your attitude to be at the party. Happy I'm here to meet anyone then go with a brighter color or white. I'm here and I'm happy but not exactly that sociable then go with darker colors. Of course black is a classic as is red.

The darker your dress is I recommend that you go lighter on your eye make up.

according to my experience, silver can also make fare skin tone more clear and beautiful,but i don't think silver clothing is goofd idea, just some small gadgets, such as silver collour bracelet,necklace.
