How do you break up with your hair stylist?

I've had horrible luck with hair stylists and not getting the right color I've been trying to achieve for some time now. I go from one to another in hopes that they've had some type of formal training on how to color hair but no such luck! I switched to my current stylist before my wedding a few months ago and she made my hair orange instead of brown. She knows the problems I've had with the others so now I feel even more awkward leaving her because she'll know why! How do I do this without hurting her feelings?

That stylist will be familliar with the look and could possibly reap the results that you want.

If your stylist has done hair for a long time, then she will understand. We do realize that you can't make EVERYONE happy. She may even be able to refer you to someone else. Just don't be rude about it.

Seek a color specialist where this is either what they specialize in or all they do. Several consultaions with different ones before you just sit down in a stranger's chair.

What you should do, is go on a site like citysearch.com and read reviews for hair st ylists. Or ask your friends who they go to. Don't go to a cheap salon. They are just going to keep screwing up your hair. Its better to pay a little extra and know your hair will look amazing!
