What sud i wear to the V-day dance at scool? its not formal...it can be semi-formal or casual. the look i want is semi-formal. Any ideas? nothing revealing, no hollister, and the weather is cold. and maybe get guys attentions. what shud i do wit hair %26amp; makeup to match outfit. u can give a mental description or links. THNX!! i have black long curly nappy hair, black eyes, 13 yrs old.

Outfit:
Option 1:try wearing your red shirt with the heart made of sequins, with a miniskirt (jean or just something that will match) with either white or black tights, and with tall, a little below the knee, winter boots. (something like this for example: http://www.softmoc.com/ca/systemshow-ite...
Option 2: wear a cute, fancy top, and pair it with a pair of skinny jeans, flats, and a cute clutch.
Option 3: wear a cute dress that is not too fancy, and to make it even less fancy, pair it with a cardigan (unbuttoned). And throw some long necklaces on top.

Hair:
-For your hair, I think you should just wear it down. And make sure you don't straighten it or anything. (you said your hair was curly). Pin one side of your hair back with a bobby pin.
Makeup:
Option 1:Go for really smokey eyes- it will make you stand out and look your best. Use black eyeliner, and swipe your eyelids with some black eyeshadow as well. don't forget to put some mascara on too.
Option 2: If you want to look sweet- curl your eyelashes with an eyelash curler, and swipe your top lashes with some mascara. Do the same with your bottom lashes. Apply a pink blush to your cheekbones. Finish it off by putting on either some bright pink or red lipgloss.
Option 3: If you want to look bold- Do your normal makeup routine, except when doing your lips, put on some bright red lipstick.

a dress is always good if you want to impress a certain someone...hehe. but if ur just kickin it with ur friends then skinny jeans and a super cute top with adorable flatts would be perfect. red or pink would go great with ur hair. and if ur wearing a dress then id wear my hair in curls. and pink eyeshadow. but definately light cuz dark doesnt look good on most peoples.

Valentines Day dance?
Semi-formal can be anything, really. I had a semi-formal dance last night, to which I wore a pretty, sleeveless black dress with a thin black belt, and black tights and heels! You don't have to dress down just because everyone else is! Add some more casual accesories to a dress like the ones I put below, and you'll blend in AND look gorgeous! Don't worry about the cold, unless it's outside, you can just wear a coat and take it off once you get inside. Remember you WILL be dancing, so you don't want to wear anything too thick.

It's Valentine's Day-appropriate (red, duh!), soft and easy to move around in! You can pair this with a black headband, but leave your bangs down in front.

PS- As far as make-up goes, these dresses would look best with classic make-up, that is:
-try to make your skin as flawless as possible, use a little bit of blush on the apples of your cheeks
-do the outside half of your eyelids in a light grey, and the inside half in a sparkly white. line with black liquid liner and finish off with mascara.
-use a little bit of rose-tinted lip gloss.
