okay so heres the deal.

theres this guy at my school, we are both juniors and the same age by the way, and well i sort of like him, and i don;t know how it is that he feels. Hes always staring at me in class and weve talked like a total of two times, and everytime he asks me a question he gets really shy and like doesnt look at me. and let me tell you this kid is not shy by by all means hes sort of a jock plays baseball and is really loud and outgoing and funny, so hes like in the popular croud. But whenever i see him in the halls and he looks at me he looks away real fast and runs his hands thru his hair and like peers over at me. like this one time i was wearing shhorts and he just kept staring at me and when i looked at him he like turned red and did the hair thing again. Yesterday was stoplight day for winter formal and its like were you wear red if your taken yellow when you know when your gunna be asked but havent yet and green if your available, and the day b4 that his friend

If you don't ask, someone else will and then where will you be? If he refuses (which i doubt, unless you are too late already) it is not the end of the world anyway.

the guy likes you. its obvious. if you like him the go up to him and be like "hey dude you wanna go to the dance with me i like you alot" and if he says no say "stop being shy i like you lets be friends" anytime someo9ne looks at you and then starts to fix their hair or something it means they like you. and if he stares at you but then cant talk to you its cuz he likes you. if you like him then let him know it and be direct.

Yeah he definitely likes you (:. I think he turned red when you saw him looking at you when you were wearing shorts, is because he got embarrassed that you saw him, haha. Don't worry, just keep talking to him. And yeah, I think you should just straight up confront him about how he looks away really fast with his friends. I think he might be shy around you because he really likes you, so maybe you should tell him how you feel, and then he'll get enough guts to tell you that he likes you too. But just tell him that you don't like being ignored or anything when he's with his friends, and that if he really likes you that he should act like it. And from what I see, he does almost act like it, but maybe he just nervous what his friends would say about liking you, and come on, you got to agree with me on this because everyone thinks that.

well it sounds like he does like you he really is just shy so he flips his hair to get your attention, and the next time you hang out with him bring up numbers like "omg i just got unlimited texting/calling i need everyone's numbers!!" even if its a lie just say it and he might give it to you. just try bringing up random conversations to get to know each other more :]
