What color tie for a black suit,black shirt..im thinking of wearing a black tie also..?

its for a formal wedding...help!any suggestions???..i have black hair, dark brown eyes,light tan skin...im not much of a dresser..thanks for the help

Yes, as suggested earlier, a silver or a white vest would be nice - as it will split the black suit and black shirt a bit. Wear same colour tie as the vest. It will look sharp and smart.

If you are not wearing a vest then a black tie will be ok but a silver or white is also good.

For a formal wedding - with black shirt AND suit - DON'T wear multi coloured tie. Other PLAIN colour might be ok but definitely black , white or silver is good.

i think you will look good with a black tie.. or you could try silver, dark blue (metalic), maroon...that'll be cute as well...

i reckon that u should have a dark purple satin sorta tie that will look really nice on the black .....n as fot the vest depends if u are planing on taking ur jacket off if not then no but if yes then u will need to get one

a white and black striped tie would look good. it should have more white than black though if it's striped. a solid white tie could also look nice. a black vest would go well with either of those.
